About Us

Why we're called Nazareth.

A long time ago, someone looked at a small, overlooked town and asked if anything good could possibly come from it. We named our church after the answer.

Worship Ministry
Our Story

A small beginning, on purpose.

We didn't start with a building or a budget. We started with a handful of people who believed grace was for everyone, especially the people other churches had quietly given up on.

[Year]

A handful of chairs

Nazareth Gospel Mission began with a small group meeting in [a living room / rented hall / original location], committed to honest worship and to showing up for whoever walked through the door.

[Year]

A home of our own

As the family grew, so did our need for a permanent home. We moved into our current building at [Address], with room to gather, grow, and welcome more people in.

[Year]

Helping the Broken launches

Our outreach ministry began as a single meal program and grew into a full ministry offering food, shelter referrals, and recovery support to our neighbors in hardship — no questions asked.

Today

Still answering the question

Today we're a growing church family across every age and background, still asking the same question Nazareth always invited: can something good come from here? We believe it can, and it has.

What We Believe

The convictions that shape everything we do.

We're not interested in complicated theology for its own sake. Here's what we actually build our lives, our worship, and our outreach on.

The Bible

We believe Scripture is God's true word to us — trustworthy, life-giving, and the final word on how we live and what we believe.

One God, Three Persons

We believe in one God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — distinct, equal, and united.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus is fully God and fully human, who lived, died, and rose again to reconcile us to God.

Salvation by Grace

We believe salvation is a gift, received by faith, not earned by effort — there's nothing you can do to make God love you more, or less.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, guiding, comforting, and empowering us to live and love like Jesus.

The Church

We believe the church is a family, not a building — called together to worship, grow, and serve our city side by side.

This is a starting summary, not a full doctrinal statement. Replace this section with your church's complete statement of faith, reviewed by your elders or leadership team.

Our Mission

Welcome people home to grace.

We exist to introduce people to Jesus, walk with them as they grow, and stand beside our neighbors in their hardest seasons — without judgment, and without an agenda beyond love.

Our Vision

A city that knows it's loved.

We want every person in [City] to know there's a church family that sees them, prays for them, and shows up for them — whether they ever set foot in our building or not.

Our Values

What we won't compromise on.

Grace over grandeur

We'd rather be honest and small than impressive and hollow. Every program serves people, not the other way around.

Everyone gets a seat

Whatever your story, your past, or your doubts — there's a place for you here, no exceptions and no fine print.

Faith that acts

Belief that never leaves the building isn't much use to anyone. We measure faith by what it moves us to do.

Our Leadership

The people walking it out with you.

A pastoral team committed to teaching Scripture faithfully and loving this church family well.
